2. General information on data processing
We only process personal data to the extent necessary for a functioning website, for answering your enquiries or for performing contracts. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), (b) (contract and pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest). There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external hosting provider based in the European Union. When you visit the website, the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and the defence against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The log files are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for these purposes. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
4. Contact form and contact by email or phone
If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the information you provide (name, company, contact details, number of workstations, subject and message) to handle your enquiry and for follow-up questions. Enquiries submitted via the form are sent by email to our business mailbox. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Providing the information is voluntary. Without your name, company and a way to contact you, however, we cannot answer your enquiry. We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention periods apply, for example under commercial and tax law.
5. Cookies and consent management
On your first visit, we ask you in a notice which categories of cookies and similar technologies you allow. We store your choice in your browser (local storage) so that we do not have to ask you again on every page. The choice is deleted after 12 months or when you clear your browser data. The legal basis is § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.
Necessary: Store your cookie choice and, if you log in with a password for the protected areas (terms and conditions), a session cookie that is deleted when you close your browser. The legal basis is § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Statistics and marketing: We currently do not use any statistics or marketing services. Should we use such services in the future, this will only happen with your consent pursuant to § 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, and we will update this policy accordingly.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
6. Fonts and external content
The fonts, scripts and animations used are hosted locally on our server. When you visit the website, no connection is made to servers of Google or other third parties. We do not embed videos, maps or social media content from third parties.
7. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Apart from us, the only recipients of your data are our hosting and email service providers, who act as processors strictly according to our instructions. Your data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). To do so, please contact us using the details above.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you can object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.
10. Changes to this privacy policy
We adapt this privacy policy when our website, our services or the legal situation change. The version published here applies.
